Patricia Núñez

Patricia Núñez, founder and director of Dance Steps Miami, is a seasoned ballet instructor, choreographer, and performer with over 20 years of experience. Patricia trained in the Vaganova and Cuban methods, and her performing career includes soloist roles in iconic ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Giselle, sharing the stage with world-renowned dancers including José Manuel Carreño, Darci Kistler, and Marcelo Gomes.

Certified in the American Ballet Theater’s National Training Curriculum in Pre-Primary through Level 3, Patricia also attended the Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida Teacher’s Workshop, where she honed her expertise in teaching ballet technique. Since opening Dance Steps Miami in 2015, she has been dedicated to teaching classical ballet to students ages 3 and up, choreographing compelling recital pieces and managing all aspects of the studio. With prior experience training award-winning dancers and staging productions at other dance studios, Patricia is committed to fostering technical excellence and a lifelong love of ballet in her students.

Kindra Johnson

Kindra Johnson is a Fall 2020 Graduate from the Dixie State University Dance Program in St. George, Utah. After graduating, she pursued a yearlong residency program at the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) in Vermont specializing in dance trapeze and silks.  She started dancing when she was 3 years old and grew up with a love of dance and a spirit of adventure. These traits have impacted who she is as a person, performer, and choreographer.

Kindra collaborated with several dance companies by choreographing and performing for St. George Dance Company, On Stage Dance Company, Idaho State University, and her alma mater Dixie State University. She also danced competitively for several years at American on Stage National Dance Competition. 

​

Kindra has experience teaching ballet, modern, contemporary, and flexibility classes. She currently teaches and performs in Miami, FL.

Verónica Restrepo

Verónica Restrepo brings to us over 15 years of formal ballet training and a lifelong passion for the performing arts. Her training consists of a strong foundation in classical ballet technique and pointe work, and she has also studied jazz, contemporary, and other dance styles. Verónica’s experience extends beyond the studio, having choreographed original works, competed with dance teams, and mentored younger dancers.

 

As a teacher, she combines her classical ballet expertise with her background as a pianist and educator, creating dynamic, engaging classes that inspire students to build confidence and express themselves through movement.
